High-quality products need high-quality care to best stand the test of time.
Washing
Figgjo porcelain is dishwasher safe. However, hand washing is recommended for items containing gold and platinum. Always follow the dishwasher instructions and use the correct amount of a suitable detergent. *A rinsing agent will prolong longevity.
General requirements
It's crucial to keep chinaware and cutlery separated to prevent metal marks. Rinse the products before washing and let them air dry before storing them. *To avoid metal marks in use, we recommend using 18/10 steel flatware.
Craftmanship
All Figgjo items are hand-finished, giving them a unique character. Any irregularities, color variations, or minor imperfections should be considered distinctive marks of authenticity. We have made every effort to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor will accurately display colors.
Oven and microwave
Figgjo porcelain can be safely used in microwaves and ovens up to 300˚C (570˚F) but must be slowly heated and cooled. China with gold and platinum decorations should not be used in the microwave.
Glaze
Glaze wear and tear occurs primarily from stacking and unloading the dishwasher. Using a rinsing agent will reduce friction between items, thus minimizing wear from stacking.
Stoneware
Figgjo stoneware can be safely used in microwaves and ovens up to 250˚C (500˚F) but must be slowly heated and cooled. Avoid exposing to direct flames or placing hot items from the oven directly onto a cold surface. All our stoneware items can be washed daily in the dishwasher. To prevent damage, avoid rubbing or bumping items during the wash cycle. *Please be aware that the matte, delicate surface is more susceptible to cutlery marking than our vitro porcelain and should be handled carefully if knives are used.
